Chase is a 9-year-old neutered Border Collie who came into our care after his owners felt they could no longer give him the time he needed.

He's a friendly boy who has previously lived in a rural area, and we think a quieter location away from busy roads would suit him well as he can sometimes lunge towards passing traffic when walking near busy roads

Chase is housetrained, travels well and is happy being left for a few hours. He's also a big fan of playing ball, so although he's an older boy, there's still plenty of Collie enthusiasm when there's a game on offer!

He has previously lived with cats but prefers his own space around other dogs, so we're looking for a home where he can be the only dog.

At nine years old, we'd really like to see Chase settled back into a home where he can enjoy his walks, his ball games and plenty of company.

Joey

Joey is almost 3 yrs old and has been neutered. He came into our care from Romania where he had spent his life in a foster sanctuary amongst several other dogs in a very rural area.

He is very much a project dog and will require an understanding owner that is willing to give him all the time and space he requires to adapt to a new life.

Every new experience will be a challenge for Joey but with the correct help and guidance we are confident he can overcome his fears.

He will now allow staff to gently stroke him and after 4 weeks he is now venturing outdoors on a lead.

Rocco is a 7 month old entire collie cross. He came into our care along with his sibling as their owner didn't have enough time for them.

Rocco is a friendly young dog and should be suitable for most households. He is housetrained and crate trained, is ok being left alone for odd hours (crated) he loves to play ball and respond to basic commands. He is good meeting other dogs and although he has lived with a cat he did used to nip at him through play. He isn't really used to travelling so this will need to be built up.

Charles

Charles is 2yrs old he came into our care from Romania where he was rescued from a high kill shelter.

Although he has been in our care for 4 months we still haven't been able to build his confidence enough for him to allow us to touch him. He will happily approach us and take treats but is still worried by close contact.

He loves spending time outdoors and will happily approach visitors that pass by and will take food from them but again backs away from any contact.

He is wary around other dogs but has spent time with those that are calm and gentle around him.

Charles is very much a project dog so will require a special type of person who can allow him all the time he requires to gain trust in people. He would be better suited to a quiet home environment where he can have access to a secure outdoor area.

He is crate trained and if he was lucky enough to find a home he would need to travel home in a crate (provided) so he can be lifted in/out of a vehicle without getting too stressed, this would also be beneficial within the home as his safe space.

Jet is a 2 year old neutered collie. She originally came into our care via another rescue after she was found living in a horse trailer. She than spent 6mths in a home but was returned as her owners felt their home and life style wasn't right for her needs.

She is housetrained, is good when left alone for a few hours, travels very well and knows several commands. She does lunge at large vehicles when out walking but is ok with passing cars.

Having spent her early years locked away Jet missed out on being socialised and can be worried by people that suddenly reach out towards her and when she has felt threatened she has on rare occasions snapped so requires an owner that understand her fear and is willing to work with her and avoid situations that she struggles with.

She is ok around calm non reactive dogs but if dogs pester her she again can become worried and may react.

Jet requires a quiet home without young children, frequent different visitors and cats. Once she has built a bond with her owner she is very loyal and affectionate.

Trudy

Trudy will be 5 yrs old in October. She was rescued in Romania from a kill shelter along with her pups. We are told Trudy spent 18 months in a foster home before coming to us but this was a rescue foster where the dogs just have free roam of outdoors.

Trudy then spent 9 months in a home but was returned as she snapped on two occasions and bit the female owner on the knee when another dog approached and caused an altercation with Trudy (owner put her knee between the two dogs)

Trudy is a nervous girl and requires a quite home with someone that understands her background and will give her time to adjust to new environments and experiences. She requires short walks in quiet areas to prevent her getting too over whelmed by everything which is what happened in her last home causing her to react to people and other dogs out on a walk due to fear.

Meet Bibi! This gorgeous 2-year-old black-and-white, short-coated entire Border Collie Cross She was transferred to us from a rescue in Ireland via her own home where she lived with her litter sister, we are told the owner was struggling to care for two dogs. Bibi is now ready to find her special person. Bibi originally came to us after her previous owner struggled to manage two energetic littermates, so she is now looking for a peaceful home where she can be the centre of someone's world.

Bibi is a sensitive, gentle soul who takes a little time to warm up to new surroundings. Once she feels safe and gets to know you, her true personality shines - she is incredibly affectionate, loves fuss, and will happily seek out affection and cuddles from her trusted human.

Because she is a soft girl, Bibi is looking for a tranquil, low-bustle home with a patient, loving

owner who will let her build confidence at her own pace.

She prefers gentle, low-stress environments. Big, busy adventures overwhelm her right now, so she will do best with an owner happy to take short, relaxed strolls while building up her confidence outside.

Bibi prefers her own space and wants to be the only pet in the home. She'd love to have all your love and attention to herself!
