Hello, I’m Bobby! I’m a 5 year old tri coloured Border Collie. I came into care because my previous owner couldn’t give me enough time due to work. I had a 7-week stay with another family, but it didn’t quite work out as I got a bit defensive with the lady of the house when she tried to correct me but when dad was around I felt much happier around her.
I’m a friendly guy when meeting people, I am housetrained, happy to be left alone for a few hours, and I travel well. I can be a little unsure around other dogs at first and often bark but once introduced correctly I can be ok but I may not live with others. I do have a bit of a chase instinct when it comes to cats.
I’m looking for a patient and understanding family who can help me feel confident and loved.

Ernie is a 5yr old neutered collie cross. He came into our care from his own home due to a change in his owners circumstances.
He is housetrained, is good when left alone for a few hours, responds to basic commands and travels well.
Ernie is shy meeting strangers and does sometimes bark so will need a little space and time. He also gets worried by visitors to the home so would be better suited to a quiet environment without young children. He is shy around other dogs and does chase traffic.
(He may require more than one visit)

Zen is almost 3 years old, he is a neutered black and white border collie. He came into our care following a change in his owners circumstances.
Zen is a little shy when first meeting new people but soon makes friends. He is fine when left alone travels well and is house trained.
He can be worried if over handled as he did trap his tail in a gate and ever since has been worried with his tail being touched. He has been checked by a vet and we are told there's nothing physically wrong with it. Zen has a history of a suspected inflammatory/neurological condition (MUO), for which he received specialist veterinary care and steroid treatment. He experienced one relapse in 2025 but has since successfully come off medication, with no recent concerns. His full veterinary history will be provided to his new owner. He has met teenage children and interacted well.

Rex is a 5 year old Black and White medium coated Border Collie. He came into our care from a rescue in Ireland. He was living on a farm but spent most of his time locked in a shed so doesn't have any experience of life so will require an owner who is willing to give him the time he needs to gain confidence and trust in people.
He has been good meeting other dogs in our care, responds to "sit" command and has shown a interest in playing with a ball.

Dash is a 2 year old neutered Sable and White shorted coated Border Collie Cross. He came into our care from a rescue in Ireland but we have no other history on him.
Dash is a friendly boy but lacks confidence in every day life and gets anxious out on walks as he struggles to cope in busy environments. He will require a more rural home where he can be introduced to the outside world gradually so he doesn't get too overwhelmed.

Ricky is a 2 year old entire Black and White shorted coated Border Collie Cross. He came into our care from a rescue in Ireland but we have no other history on him.
Ricky is a confident friendly boy but is easily over stimulated so wouldn't be suitable to live with younger children. He enjoys playing with toys and is responsive to his name.
He lacks confidence around other dogs so will require positive interactions with calm non reactive dogs.

Joey is almost 3 yrs old and has been neutered. He came into our care from Romania where he had spent his life in a foster sanctuary amongst several other dogs in a very rural area.
Joey has lived a very sheltered life and the concept of venturing out into the big wide world is a worrying one for him. Joey will need a lot of support transitioning into a home but with patience and understanding we feel that Joey is now ready to take that step.
He really likes the safety of his kennel and is often found curled up resting in his bed, Joey will venture out for walks with staff that he feels comfortable with but he still needs some encouragement at times.
He’s not forthcoming with interactions and will likely avoid people where possible. He’s still very anxious and would benefit from a stable routine where his expectations are met on a daily basis.
He needs a very quiet and calm home environment with minimal visitors. Joey would gain a lot of confidence from living with another dog although it is not essential.
Joey will likely need at least 2-3 visits before going into a home.

Jesse is almost 3 yrs old and has been neutered. He came into our care from Romania where he had spent his life in a foster sanctuary amongst several other dogs in a very rural area.
Jesse was very anxious when he arrived with us but over time he has flourished into a charismatic and entertaining boy.
Jesse gets very excited to go out for walks, although this hasn’t always been the case and it’s likely once he goes to a new home he will regress in terms of confidence. He still shows worry around unknown people, new experiences and some dogs. Jesse will need time and patience in his new home to build trust and feel confident enough to show his true colours and personality.
Jesse can be vocal and alarm bark at some external stimuli that he feels fearful of and is likely to do this in the home when he experiences all the new things that a home has to offer (e.g hoover, washing machine)
He would benefit from a very quiet and calm home environment with minimal visitors. Jesse would gain a lot of confidence from living with another dog although it is not essential.
He will likely need at least 2-3 visits before going into a home.

Meet Bibi! This gorgeous 2-year-old black-and-white, short-coated entire Border Collie Cross She was transferred to us from a rescue in Ireland as her previous owner struggled to manage two energetic littermates, so she is now looking for a peaceful home where she can be the centre of someone's world.
Bibi is a sensitive, gentle soul who takes a little time to warm up to new people. Once she feels safe and gets to know you, her true personality shines and she is incredibly affectionate, loves fuss, and will happily seek out affection and cuddles from her trusted human but this will take time.
Bibi is looking for a tranquil, low-bustle home with a patient, loving owner who will let her build confidence at her own pace.
She prefers gentle, low-stress environments. Big, busy adventures overwhelm her right now, so she will do best with an owner happy to take short, relaxed strolls while building up her confidence outside.
Bibi prefers her own space and wants to be the only pet in the home. She'd love to have all your love and attention to herself!

Trudy

Trudy is 5 years old. She was rescued in Romania from a kill shelter along with her pups. We are told Trudy spent 18 months in a foster home before coming to us but this was a rescue foster where the dogs just have free roam of outdoors.
Trudy then spent 9 months in a home but was returned as she snapped on two occasions and bit the female owner on the knee when another dog approached and caused an altercation with Trudy (owner put her knee between the two dogs)
Trudy is a nervous girl and requires a quite home with someone that understands her background and will give her time to adjust to new environments and experiences. She requires short walks in quiet areas to prevent her getting too over whelmed by everything which is what happened in her last home causing her to react to people and other dogs out on a walk due to fear.
