Molly is a 13mth old entire collie cross. She originally was living with an elderly man who wasn't able to care for or socialise her so a family offered to take her on but Molly was too much for their small elderly dog and their cat so they relinquished her into our care.
Molly can be a little unsure when first encountering strangers and may initially bark but quickly over comes her fears. Due to this she may require a couple if visits. Although she has lived with a 2yr old child we feel she would be more suited with children over 10yrs old.
She is housetrained and crate trained, is good when left alone for a few hours and travels well. She is a little unsure around other dogs so needs positive interactions with calm non reactive dogs. She is strong on a lead.

Mollie is a 7 yr old black and white short coated neutered border collie. She came into our care from her own home due to a change in the owners circumstances.
She is house trained and good being left for a few hours and is good when visitors come to the home. She does chase traffic and will not live with a cat. We are told she can be snappy in close contact with other dogs so may be best as an only dog. She's not used to living with children but may be suitable to live with children over 12.

Meg is almost 10yrs old, she has been neutered. Sadly Meg has been returned to our care after 7yrs in a home following the sudden death of one of her owners and the other being too ill to care for her due to being house bound.
Meg is a calm friendly girl and should be suitable to live with children over 8yrs old. She is housetrained and although has been used to someone being at home with her when she has been left alone she has been fine. She does stend to stalk other dogs when out walking but if introduced correctly is generally ok, she does prefer her own space away from others. Travels ok in a car, chases cats.

Rosie is a lovely girl who has had quite a few changes in her life and is now looking for a patient, understanding home where she can finally settle.
Originally born on a farm, Rosie has lived in several homes, most recently spending a month in foster care before coming to us. In her previous home, she struggled to settle into a busy family environment, so we feel she would be best suited to a quieter, adult-only home where she can enjoy a more predictable routine.
During her time in foster care, Rosie lived alongside four other dogs and a cat. She was fine with the cat and generally chose to ignore the other dogs. She was also housetrained, crate trained, travelled well in the car and was happy being left alone for a few hours. She responded well to basic commands and was comfortable walking along quiet streets, although she hasn't had much exposure to busier environments.
Rosie can be a little shy when meeting new people and will need time to build her confidence. In one of her previous homes, Rosie was reported to react to certain household items and occasionally nip at people's ankles. Although her foster carer didn't experience this behaviour, we did see Rosie attempt to nip at the back of a staff member's legs when they stood up and walked away from her. We have already seen some improvement in this behaviour as she begins to settle.
We feel Rosie will benefit from an experienced, calm owner who understands that some of her reactions may be linked to uncertainty and who can help her learn more appropriate ways of coping. She will need gentle, consistent guidance and a home where she isn't overwhelmed by too much activity.
Despite her initial shyness, Rosie has been accepting of gentle handling and is already becoming more comfortable with our staff. We hope that, given the right environment, she will continue to grow in confidence.

Bella is a 7yr old neutered collie she came into our care as her owner no longer had the time to give her due to having a 7mth old child.
Bella is friendly when meeting people but if strangers over handled her she can get a little worried so although she has lived with a young child we feel she would be better with those over 12yrs old.
She is housetrained and crate trained, is good when left alone for a few hours and travels well. Bella is friendly meeting other dogs but does resource guard toys and food so would be best as an only dog.

Meet Bibi! This gorgeous 2-year-old black-and-white, short-coated entire Border Collie Cross She was transferred to us from a rescue in Ireland as her previous owner struggled to manage two energetic littermates, so she is now looking for a peaceful home where she can be the centre of someone's world.
Bibi is a sensitive, gentle soul who takes a little time to warm up to new people. Once she feels safe and gets to know you, her true personality shines and she is incredibly affectionate, loves fuss, and will happily seek out affection and cuddles from her trusted human but this will take time.
Bibi is looking for a tranquil, low-bustle home with a patient, loving owner who will let her build confidence at her own pace.
She prefers gentle, low-stress environments. Big, busy adventures overwhelm her right now, so she will do best with an owner happy to take short, relaxed strolls while building up her confidence outside.
Bibi prefers her own space and wants to be the only pet in the home. She'd love to have all your love and attention to herself!

Trudy

Trudy is 5 years old. She was rescued in Romania from a kill shelter along with her pups. We are told Trudy spent 18 months in a foster home before coming to us but this was a rescue foster where the dogs just have free roam of outdoors.
Trudy then spent 9 months in a home but was returned as she snapped on two occasions and bit the female owner on the knee when another dog approached and caused an altercation with Trudy (owner put her knee between the two dogs)
Trudy is a nervous girl and requires a quite home with someone that understands her background and will give her time to adjust to new environments and experiences. She requires short walks in quiet areas to prevent her getting too over whelmed by everything which is what happened in her last home causing her to react to people and other dogs out on a walk due to fear.
