Roxy – A Gentle Star Waiting to Shine

Roxy is a gorgeous 3-year-old Border Collie who’s ready to leave her past behind and start the next chapter of her life with someone kind and patient. She hasn’t always had it easy, but this girl has a heart full of love—she’s just waiting for the right person to help her let it out.

Sensitive and Sweet

Roxy can be unsure with new people and a bit nervous about being handled. She needs someone who understands that trust takes time. Move at her pace, and you’ll soon discover what a loving companion she truly is.

Peaceful Home Wanted

Busy environments aren’t her thing. She thrives in calm, quiet surroundings, so she’s looking for an adult-only home with no other pets. She’s a one-of-a-kind girl, and she prefers to have your heart all to herself.

Adventure Buddy

Roxy enjoys her walks and is happy to pass other dogs while out and about—she just prefers to be the solo star when she’s back home.

YOU WILL NEED TO TRAVEL TO OUR CENTRE WHICH IS BASED IN STAFFORDSHIRE Primrose came into our care along with another dog, their owner was suffering with ill health and wasn't able to give them the care and time they needed.

Primrose is 5yrs old but hasn't yet been neutered. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people but does soon gain confidence. She is housetrained but her owner did also use puppy pads in the house which Primrose did sometimes toilet on. She has lived with cats and is fine meeting calm dogs but is wary around those that are boisterous. She is really used to travelling so this will need to build up over time.

Pumpkin

Pumpkin is a 5yr old tri coloured short coated collie cross she was found tethered to a fence and was never reclaimed.

She has been friendly towards all kennel staff and although a little shy being handled by the vet coped very well. She should be suitable to live with children over 8yrs old. She is clean in her kennel and has been fine travelling in a vehicle.

She does chase cats and is a little worried by other dogs so will need to be an only pet

Fleur

Fleur is a 5yr old neutered black and white long coated collie. She came into our care following the death of her owner.

She has been used to a quiet home and would benefit from the same again. She is housetrained, crate trained, travels well and responds well to all basic commands.

She isn't really used to being left alone so this will need to be built up gradually. She is ok meeting other dogs out on a walk but wouldn't live with others.

She did spend 2 days in a home but was returned as when one of the people left the home she became very stressed and was running around the home frantically and when the owner tried to calm her down she redirected onto his arm causing two puncture wounds.
