Roxy is a 3 year old neutered red tri coloured short coated collie. She originally came into our care from another rescue after being found as a stray. She then spent 3 days in a home with another dog but sadly they didn't get along.
Roxy did struggle living alongside another dog which had an impact on her overall behaviour and although fine with the female owner she did snap at the man when he reached out to handle her.
Roxy can be worried being handled so requires time and patience to learn to trust people. She would benefit from a calm home without children or other pets. Once she trusts someone she is very affectionate Although she is good meeting other dogs out on a walk she wouldn't live with others.

Tess is a 9yr old neutered red tri collie cross lab. She came into our care due to the ill health of her elderly owner.
She is a friendly girl but has been used to a calm quiet home and would benefit from the same again. She is housetrained, responds well to commands, has been fine with visitors to the home including children within the family and is good with other dogs although not so keen on very small breeds.
She does lunge at traffic when out walking and will do the same in a vehicle so for travelling would be better in a covered crate. She isn't really used to being left alone so this will need to be built up over time. Chases cats

Shadow is a 4 year old neutered collie cross German Shepherd. She came into our care from another rescue, we are told she was left behind when her owners moved house.
Although she does bark upon meeting people she quickly makes friends. She has been fine meeting other dogs, respond to basic commands and is clean in kennels. Better suited to children of teenage years

Sally is a 5 month old collie cross she came into our care from another rescue along with her siblings, we don't know their history.
She is a little shy at times and probably hasn't had much experience of life outside of the place she was born. She is just learning to walk on a lead and play with toys.

Hello there my name is Fiona I came to Border Collie Trust along with my 5 siblings. I am 5 months old and do have collie in my breeding although the staff here say we look a mixture of various breeds.
I haven't been on a lead before and I am a little shy and finding everything very new to me but I'm sure with a little time and gradual encouragement I will adapt to things.

Simone is a 5 year old black and white short coated collie She came into our care from another rescue we are told she is housetrained, is good with other dogs and responds well to commands so we are guessing she may have spent some time in a foster home as she was originally found as a stray.
Whilst in our care she has been shy around staff but when in a quiet environment and given a little space she does seek attention. She is very worried being walked even on our grounds so will require time and patience to adjust to new surroundings
Simone would be better suited to a quiet home without young children.

Granne is a 2 year old entire (currently in season) black and white short coated collie. She came into our care from another rescue after being found as a stray. She did spend some time in a foster home and she was housetrained but we don't have any further information on how she coped in the home.
She is easily worried so would benefit for a quieter home with older children only. She is unsure being walked in built up areas so will only require short walks in quiet areas to begin with. She is good with other dogs.
Granne does have a minor deformity to her right front foot, possibly an old break ? This doesn't seem to affect her.

My name is Daisy I am 3 years old. I can't really remember much about my past as I have been in kennels for several months but now I'm in a breed rescue hopefully I will find my new home very soon.
I do struggle in kennels because I can hear all the other dogs barking and the noise really upsets me so I tend to spin, but when away from the noise I settle much better. I am a little shy around strangers so would prefer a home without little people running around. I am polite when meeting other dogs out on a walk but do enjoy to chase cats.
