Reggie is a 14 month old entire large cross breed we are told he is a Patterdale x GSD ? He originally came in to our care as the owner was suffering with mental health problems. He then spent 6mths in another home but was returned as his owner didn't feel she could cope with him.
Although Reggie has been raised around children he would benefit from a calm home as he does get over stimulate easily and then finds it difficult to relax. He is housetrained, travels well and responds to basic.
He isn't really used to being left alone so this will need to be built up overtime.

Willow

Willow will be 4yrs old in December he originally came into our care as his owner didn't feel she had enough time to give him due to work commitments and having a young child. He then spent two weeks in another home but was returned as he snapped when a stranger reached out to stroke him (no contact was made)
Willow can be a little unsure when first meeting strangers but given a little time he soon over comes his fears.
He is housetrained, is good when left alone, travels well, loves to play ball and is good with most other dogs. He does lunge at traffic when out walking

Bobby is a 5yr old entire tri coloured short coated collie. He originally came into our care via another rescue we are told his owner relinquished due to work commitments. He then spent 7 weeks in another home but was returned as he growled at the female owner whenever she tried to correct him. He only behaved this way towards her when the male owner was not at home.
Bobby is friendly meeting people, is housetrained, is good when left alone for odd hours and travels well.
He can be a little unsure around other dogs but once he knows them he is fine. Does chase cats.

Bowie is an 11 month old entire collie. He hasn't had the best start in life having been in 3 different rescue centres and 2 homes. His original owner handed him to rescue as she couldn't cope with a young collie.
Bowie is nervous when first meeting strangers but if given a little time and space soon overcomes his fears. He would benefit from a quieter home without young children or other dogs and someone that is willing to socialise him at his own pace.

Hi there my name is Oscar I have been around for just over 5yrs and have already had the operation that every male would prefer not to have !!
Sadly my mum became poorly and could no longer care for me and my sister so she had to give us both up. My sister was a little bit of a bully towards me so i do now tend to bark at other dogs i see out on a walk just incase they decide to do the same. Sometimes I can be over the top with other dogs in close contact I just need to learn manners around them.
I love meeting people and also like the little ones, my mum said they are known as children. I've not really been left alone much so i might find it a bit strange not having a human around all the time but I'm sure i could adapt over time. I am house trained but did sometimes toilet indoors on a puppy pad if I got desperate. I haven't been in a car very often but I do travel ok.
Hopefully one day I can have a home again with someone to go on adventures with.

Trevor is a 1yr old collie cross he came into our care from another rescue after being found as a stray.
He is a confident friendly boy and should be suitable to live with children over 8yrs old. Whilst in our care he has been clean and settled in his kennel, friendly towards everyone he has met and has been good meeting other dogs out on a walk.

Hello my name is Shep. I have been around for 6 years but sadly spent most of this time chained up outdoors, then my owner decided he didn't want me around at all so he sent me to a nearby rescue where i spent my days free of a chain and mixing with female dogs but nobody that came to visit wanted me so I'm now living in a recue that is just for collies.
Although I enjoy my time here having plenty of fuss, playing ball and going for long walks I would really like a home of my own. I did go to live with a lady for a week and whilst I was very good indoors, apart from emptying the bin she struggled to walk me as I do sometimes stalk and lunge towards other dogs and traffic and on one occasion when two dogs were peering at me over a wall I slipped my collar and jumped over to them, we did have a bit of an altercation but non of us were injured. I also spent 11 days in another home where i was very well behaved and happily met other people and even a couple of other dogs but then one morning I managed to get passed my owner and down the drive and on seeing a small dog i ran up to it and grabbed it, I didn't hurt it but obviously the owner was very shocked and upset.

Scruff is an entire 2yr old medium coated Tri Border Collie. He came into our care from his own home due to the ill health of his owner.
Scruff lived with 4 other dogs but in the last year he hadn't left the home and garden, due to this he is very under socialised and will require a very understanding owner with a lot of time and patience so he can slowly adapt to the outside world again.
Since being in our care he has started to gain a little confidence but will only walk short distances with encouragement on a lead around our paddock. He has met other dogs in our care and he tends to ignore them.

Tylo is a 1 year old entire Blue Merle medium coated Border Collie. He came into our care from his own home as his owner no longer had the time to care for him.
Tylo is a little shy meeting new people, but given time and space he soon makes friends. He has lived with teenage children.
He is housetrained and crated trained, is good being left alone 4-6 hours, responds to basic commands and travels well in a car. He is good meeting other dogs but does chase cats.

Monty is a 1yr old entire black and white short coated collie. He came into our care following a relationship breakup.
He is very shy when first meeting strangers but is desperate to make friends and if given a little time and space does begin to gain trust in people. He has lived with children and when in his own home met children of all ages and was fine with them but we feel he may be better suited with those slightly older.
Monty is housetrained, is good when being left alone, responds to basic commands, travels well and is good with other dogs.

Bayley is a 5 year old neutered Collie Cross. He originally came into our care from his own home due to his owners declining health. He then spent 7 days in a other home but was returned as he snapped at an adult visitor when she walked through the door and leant over to greet him.
Bayley is a little unsure when meeting new people so will require an owner that is willing to be hands off in the early days and give him the time and space he requires to gain trust in people. He would benefit from a quiet home without young children or lots of visitors.
Bayley is housetrained, responds to basic commands, plays with toys, travels well, and is calm and settled overnight.
He tends to avoid other dogs but can react to them if they react first. He is worried by traffic and loud noises

Rico is a 5 year old neutered Black and White short coated Border Collie Cross. He came into our care from a rescue in Ireland. He was an unwanted pet, we are told he lived with children but we don't know what ages they were. He has lived in a rural area so will need introducing to new environments gradually.
Rico is a shy boy and can get worried when meeting strangers and if approached suddenly may bark, he requires time and space as once he overcomes his fears he is an affectionate boy. We wouldn't house him to live with young children.
He loves to play with toys and enjoys running around off lead in our enclosed outdoor area. He does sometimes bark at other dogs but if introduced correctly is usually ok. He is strong on the lead and when out walking in residential areas he does lunge towards traffic.
