Hi there! I’m Willow, I was 4 on Christmas Eve. I first came into care because my previous owner couldn’t give me enough time with work and a little one at home. I have had a few short stays in a couple of other homes but they didn't work out and unfortunately in the last one the man took a bag out of my mouth that had treats in it and because i got frustrated i snapped at him, but maybe a little too hard as my tooth punctured his skin.
I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give me a moment and I soon warm up. I’m housetrained, happy to be left alone, and I travel well. I love playing ball and get along with other dogs. When I’m out walking, I can get a bit excited around traffic, but I’m learning!
I’m looking for a patient, loving home where I can feel safe and enjoy lots of fuss, fun and games.

Hello! I’m Trevor, a 1-year-old collie cross. I came into care after being found as a stray, and I’m now looking for a family of my own.
I did spend 4 days in a home and whilst I loved the 8yr old girl I did struggle with the 14yr old boy and did growl at him. I was clean in the home but found it a little difficult to fully relax as there were several different sounds I'd never heard before so i will take a little time to adapt.
I enjoy meeting other dogs and generally get along well, although I can be a little overexcited at first, so I might be too much for some. I’m full of energy, curiosity, and affection, and I can’t wait to find a family who will give me love, guidance, and plenty of fun adventures.
I’m looking for someone who will appreciate my playful, outgoing personality and help me grow into the best companion I can be!

Hello, I’m Bayley!
I’m a 5-year-old neutered Collie Cross, and I’ve had quite the journey. I originally came to the rescue because my humans weren't feeling well enough to look after me. I've spent a very short time in two further homes, but I got worried around new people and did growl and snap.
I can be a bit unsure when meeting strangers, so I’ll need someone patient who can let me come to them in my own time but once I'm confident you're not a threat i will be your best friend. I do best in a calm home without lots of visitors or young children, where I can feel safe and relaxed.
The good news? I’m housetrained, I know some basic commands, I love playing with toys, I travel well, and I sleep peacefully through the night. I tend to avoid other dogs, though I might react if they react to me first, and I’m a little nervous around traffic and loud noises — so slow and steady wins the day with me!
If you’re willing to give me time, patience, and lots of gentle reassurance, I’d love to show you what a loyal and loving companion I can be. I might need you to visit me more than once so I can really get to know you before you take me home.

Charlie is a 2yr old neutered collie cross. Before coming to us he spent his life living on a small holding in a secluded setting amongst several other dogs.
Charlie has no real life experience of the world outside of where he lived and has only recently just started to go out for walks on a lead around our site. It took us several weeks to gain his trust enabling us to then gently handle him, since then he has made good progress and now happily greets and interacts well with certain members of staff.
He requires a quiet home environment and an owner that understands his needs and is willing to give him all the time and patience he requires.
He will require a few visits and if possible these need to be close together.

Hello, I’m Bobby! I’m a 5-year-old tri-coloured collie with a smooth coat. I came into care because my previous owner couldn’t give me enough time due to work. I had a 7-week stay with another family, but it didn’t quite work out as I got a bit defensive with the lady of the house when she tried to correct me but when dad was around i felt much happier around her.
I’m a friendly guy when meeting people, I am housetrained, happy to be left alone for a few hours, and I travel well. I can be a little unsure around other dogs at first, but once I know them, I’m fine. I do have a bit of a chase instinct when it comes to cats.
I’m looking for a patient and understanding family who can help me feel confident and loved.

He is an active friendly boy who is now seeking a new home. He is housetrained, responds to basic commands, loves to play ball, is good with visitors to the home including children and travels well.
He isn't really used to being left alone for too long so this will need to be built up over time. He tends to ignore other dogs out on a walk as he prefers his own space so may be better as an only dog. He is reactive to traffic when out walking so will need an owner that is capable of holding him. Chase traffic.

Dash is a 2yr old entire tri coloured short coated collie. He was handed as an unclaimed stray from another rescue in Ireland.
He is worried of new environments so will someone who can give him the space and time he needs to gain confidence in his own time.
He can be worried around other dogs so will need socialising around calm sensible well balanced dogs.
Because Dash is a shy boy he does not yet respond to commands or play with toys.

Hugo is a 2yr old short coated black and white entire collie cross. He was handed in from his own home due to his owner suffering with mental health issues and also physical problems resulting in Hugo spending most of his time shut in a crate.
He is house trained but has on odd occasions soiled in the house when left alone for long hours.
Whilst he hasn't lived with children he has met children over 8yrs old and interacted well with them.
He is very focused on other dogs and will snap in close contact so best as an only dog.
He does chase traffic when out walking and is not used to travelling in a car.

Freddy is a 23 week old entire short coated red tri collie. He was handed in from his own home due to a change in his owners circumstances.
He is a friendly pup and although hasn't lived with children has been fine with those he has met out on a walk.
He is used to being left a few hours during the day in a crate but the previous owner said he did sometimes bark. He is housetrained, responds to basic commands and travels well in the car.
Freddy can be worried when first meeting other dogs but soon gains confidence and then interacts well.
When out walking he does chase traffic.

Idris is a tri long coated collie. He is nearly 3 years old and is entire.
He came into our care in April 2025 from a rescue in Ireland after his owner was admitted into a care unit due to their mental health.
We then placed him in a home for 9 months but he was returned as his owner started working longer hours meaning Idris was being left all day on his own. Due to him being left long hours he had on occasion chewed items (TV remote, LED lamp, a cable) He never chewed any furniture.
Idris is a friendly boy. He has met children aged 5yrs + but due to his bouncy nature he can knock young children over so would be better suited to live with older children.
He is housetrained, travels well, plays with toys and responds to basic commands.
He can be bossy meeting other dogs so wouldn't live with another.
Idris has nipped a sheep in the past so we wouldn't home him to live with or near livestock.

Roger is a 4yr old entire collie. He spent 5 months in a council pound before being transferred to our care so we don't know his background.
He has been friendly towards all the staff here and should be fine living with children over 8yrs old. He is a unsure how to interact around other dogs and does tend to work/herd them from a distance but if introduced correctly interacts well.

Echo is a 17 month old entire black and white long coated collie, he came into our care from his own home as his owner was away from home with his job leaving his parents to care for Echo.
When he was 5 months old a stair gate fell on him and ever since then Echo has had issues with the owners father reaching over the gate, (the father was present when the gate fell on him) Echo has snapped at the man on 7 separate occasions when he has reached over the gate to pass his wife a plate of food on one occasion left a puncture wound and on another occasion when the man pulled his hand away it ripped his skin.
Echo is a confident friendly boy and has been fine with everyone apart from the owners father. He has happily met children but because of the above incidents we wouldn't house him to live with any younger than 13yrs old.
He is housetrained, has lived with another dog, is fine with livestock and horses, responds to all basic commands and travels well.
He has only been left alone for odd hours so this will need to be built up over time. He does chase cats.
