Hi there! I’m Willow, I was 4 on Christmas Eve. I first came into care because my previous owner couldn’t give me enough time with work and a little one at home. I had a short stay with another family, but it didn’t work out—I got a bit nervous when someone tried to pet me (no harm done, I just need a bit of space sometimes!).

I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give me a moment and I soon warm up. I’m housetrained, happy to be left alone, and I travel well. I love playing ball and get along with other dogs. When I’m out walking, I can get a bit excited around traffic, but I’m learning!

I’m looking for a patient, loving home where I can feel safe and enjoy lots of fuss, fun and games.

Hello, I’m Bobby! I’m a 5-year-old tri-coloured collie with a smooth coat. I came into care because my previous owner couldn’t give me enough time due to work. I had a 7-week stay with another family, but it didn’t quite work out as I got a bit defensive with the lady of the house when she tried to correct me but when dad was around i felt much happier around her.

I’m a friendly guy when meeting people, I am housetrained, happy to be left alone for a few hours, and I travel well. I can be a little unsure around other dogs at first, but once I know them, I’m fine. I do have a bit of a chase instinct when it comes to cats.

I’m looking for a patient and understanding family who can help me feel confident and loved.

Hello! I’m Trevor, a 1-year-old collie cross. I came into care after being found as a stray, and I’m now looking for a family of my own.

I did spend 4 days in a home and whilst I loved the 8yr old girl I did struggle with the 14yr old boy and did growl at him. I was clean in the home but found it a little difficult to fully relax as there were several different sounds I'd never heard before so i will take a little time to adapt.

I enjoy meeting other dogs and generally get along well, although I can be a little overexcited at first, so I might be too much for some. I’m full of energy, curiosity, and affection, and I can’t wait to find a family who will give me love, guidance, and plenty of fun adventures.

I’m looking for someone who will appreciate my playful, outgoing personality and help me grow into the best companion I can be!

Rico is a 5 year old neutered Black and White short coated Collie. He came into our care from a rescue in Ireland. He was an unwanted pet, we are told he lived with children but we don't know what ages they were. He has lived in a rural area so will need introducing to new environments gradually.

Rico is a shy boy and can get worried when meeting strangers and if approached suddenly may bark, he requires time and space as once he overcomes his fears he is an affectionate boy. We wouldn't house him to live with young children.

He loves to play with toys and enjoys running around off lead in our enclosed outdoor area and has shown signs of good recall. He does sometimes bark at other dogs but if introduced correctly he is usually ok. He is strong on the lead and when out walking in residential areas he does lunge towards traffic.

Rory is a 5yr old neutered collie. His owner sadly passed away so he went to live with a family member but they felt they weren't able to give him the time and attention he deserved due to them having another dog and being out at work.

Rory is a confident friendly boy and enjoys nothing more than cuddling up to you. He is housetrained, is good when left alone for several hours, travels well and responds to basic commands.

Whilst he has lived with another dog he may be better as an only dog in the home as he does like to get all the attention, food and treats. When out walking he is usually ok meeting other dogs but on rare occasions has snapped.

Whilst in our care he did get worried when a 4yr old child approached him but was fine around a slightly older child. He does tend to pull on the lead but this could be due to being a kennel environment.

Reggie is a 14 month old entire cross breed we are told he is a Patterdale x GSD ? He originally came in to our care as the owner was suffering with mental health problems. He then spent 6mths in another home but was returned as his owner didn't feel she could cope with him due to her health issues.

Although Reggie has been raised around children he would benefit from a calm home as he does get over stimulate easily and then finds it difficult to relax. He is housetrained, travels well, is good with other dogs and responds to basic commands.

He isn't really used to being left alone so this will need to be built up overtime as in his previous home he did have a tendency to chew things although he has never chewed anything whilst in our care. He does chase cats.

Zenko

Zenko is a 9 month old entire collie he originally came into our care via a dog trainer after he snapped at the owners child who was walking around with food in his hand. He then spent 2 weeks in another home but was returned as he suffered with separation anxiety when the owners left him alone during the day although he was very good when left downstairs overnight.

Zenko is a little shy when first meeting new people so would be better suited to a quiet home without young children and an owner that is willing to give him the time he needs to adjust to a new home.

He is housetrained, crate trained, responds to basic commands, travels ok and has previously lived with another dog and a cat.

Zenko isn't really used to being left alone so this will need to be built up over time. We are also told that in his previous home he did have food guarding issues ?

Ronnie is a 6yr old entire black and white short coated collie. He came into our care as the other dog in the home kept showing aggression towards him.

He is a friendly boy and although hasn't lived with children he has been fine with those that have visited the home. He has lived with cats.

Ronnie is housetrained, responds to basic commands, travels well and has been fine meeting other dogs whilst in our care.

Hello, I’m Bayley!

I’m a 5-year-old neutered Collie Cross, and I’ve had quite the journey. I originally came to the rescue because my humans weren't feeling well enough to look after me. I've spent a very short time in two further homes, but I got worried around new people and did growl and snap.

I can be a bit unsure when meeting strangers, so I’ll need someone patient who can let me come to them in my own time but once I'm confident you're not a threat i will be your best friend. I do best in a calm home without lots of visitors or young children, where I can feel safe and relaxed.

The good news? I’m housetrained, I know some basic commands, I love playing with toys, I travel well, and I sleep peacefully through the night. I tend to avoid other dogs, though I might react if they react to me first, and I’m a little nervous around traffic and loud noises — so slow and steady wins the day with me!

If you’re willing to give me time, patience, and lots of gentle reassurance, I’d love to show you what a loyal and loving companion I can be. I might need you to visit me more than once so I can really get to know you before you take me home.

Charlie is a 2yr old neutered collie cross. Before coming to us he spent his life living on a small holding in a secluded setting amongst several other dogs.

Charlie has no real life experience of the world outside of where he lived and has only recently just started to go out for walks on a lead around our site. It took us several weeks to gain his trust enabling us to then gently handle him, since then he has made good progress and now happily greets and interacts well with certain members of staff.

He requires a quiet home environment and an owner that understands his needs and is willing to give him all the time and patience he requires.

He will require a few visits and if possible these need to be close together.
